  1. Kelly Proellocks says:

I like that cowboy that looks like Hugh Jackman. Hang on it IS Hugh Jackman. Currently I am watching a story about Henry Winkler but I have to say that he is still a rather good looking man for his age.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      Yup. It’s Hugh. ***sigh***

Winkler was a cutie, too. He was a lot of fun in that movie that’s set mainly in a mortuary. Can’t remember the name of it, but it was good mindless fun.

      1. Kelly Proellocks says:

Hugh is in another Nestle Iced Tea ad here in Australia and he looks so hawt in it since he was jogging and stuff. I will post a link of it to your Facebook page tomorrow.

  2. ladydawgfan says:

*humming to herself “Save a horse, ride a cowboy!!”*

    1. JenG says:

      *snicker* *snort* *GRIN*

      Nice one :)

    2. Karen Hawkins says:

      Exactly! Teehee!

    3. LouisaCornell says:

Amen, sister! You read my mind!

  3. Jen says:

Yehaw! Nice pictures. Now, can I ask why you cut Redford out of the first one?? Yes, I’m being greedy.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

I couldn’t find a picture of the two of them that had normal resolution. For some reason, they were all very small, or large and grainy. So I had to go with the Paul Newman only shot.

And yes, it was a loss. :(

  4. Sandi in OH says:

Robert Redford, Robert Mitchum (with his bedroom eyes) would have been a nice addition to these lovely pictures. Not a bad way to start the week.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      Yes, indeed!

  5. Judy F says:

Awesome pictures. Love me some cowboys.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

They always do it for me, too.

  6. carla carlson says:

Is it me, but the way a man handles a horse can get me flushed. Love the pictures.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

It’s not just you, m’dear. It’s DEFINITELY not just you.

  7. freshechelle says:

    Happy trails…..

  8. Claudia Dain says:

Gorgeous! There’s something about a cowboy, even with a shirt on. ;)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

It’s those low slung, well-fitted jeans … sigh.

  9. Kelly R/W. says:

Whew, nice. All I can think of is that song, “I wanna be a cowboy,” I would happily be a cowgirl to any one of them! Giddy-up ;o)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      Lol! Giddy up, indeed.

  10. pjpuppymom says:

It’s going to be a GREAT week! Yeeeee Haw! :)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

I think it will be, too. YEHAW!

  11. ladydawgfan says:

BTW, even though they aren’t cowboys, per se, has anyone seen “Full Metal Jousting” on The History Channel? Loads of sweaty buff men riding horses and holding lances while actually competing in Jousting tournements. It’s a lot of fun to watch from both a historical and a hormonal viewpoint. :)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Nope. But I shall go and see if I can find it. Thank you for the heads up!

  12. Kathleen O says:

Nothing makes me happier than to see these fine specimans of manhood… Cowyboys to it to me everytime.. Thank You oh Thank you Karen for sharing Paul and Hugh and the rest of the boys with us…

    SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      You’re quite welcome!

  13. Susan Mallery says:

Think I need to book a trip to cowboy country!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Yes, you do. Several would be nice. :)

  14. Gail Nichols says:

    They can lasso me anytime:)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

I’d even hold still and let them catch me. Heh!

  15. Paula says:

yee haaa gotta love me a cowboy. Karen you spoil us week after week.
Haven’t been around much lately as I’ve been so busy but now things have calmed down again I’ll be here more often

    1. dbrown3400 says:

Good to see you here, Paula.

      1. Paula says:

        Thanks Donna

  16. Karen Hawkins says:

Paula, I hope you get the chance to visit more often! We’ve missed you greatly.

Glad you enjoyed the cowboy. Everyone needs a little cowboy now and then.

    1. Paula says:

Thank You Karen I will try to visit daily!

Cowboys today have made my week!

  17. evlqn says:

Newman still does it best but I wouldn’t throw any of those hard working men off my ranch. Nope just couldn’t do it!

  18. Pat F says:

WOW….that is beautiful scenery!!! Thanks.. Is it hot in here???

  19. Lori Howe says:

I like the way your mind works… not to mention your eyes.

  20. dbrown3400 says:

Karen, as usual, your selections are delicious. Is that Hugh from Australia? Cowboys, up and ride, so to speak.

  21. Robin RBL says:

Giddy yup! Love a good cowboy! Throw in Robert Redford as the Sundance Kid and you have a full hand here!

I was watching Anderson Coopers talk show in the afternoon (not CNN show) and Hugh Jackman’s half brother works as a producer or camera director on his show and they showed him and he looks like Hughs TWIN. I thought of Karen right away.

  22. Patricia Cochran says:

    Boy Howdy! (Texanism)

    Love those cowboys!

    Pat Cochran

  23. Verena says:

These pictures make me look forward even more to my trip to the US next week. Although I don’t expect there are many cowboys in Georgia where my sister lives. Never mind, I will just think about Hugh’s picture.

  24. Sheridan says:

Many years ago, we had some acreage out here in the CO and I was out hiking on the back of the property with some friends. In the distance, we heard the hooves of a horse coming toward us. It was the son of one of our neighbors who was riding back there (with permission) in his hat, jeans, boots and button down shirt coming over the hill then reigning his horse to a walk when he saw us. Even though he was just a teenager at the time, the scene looked like something out of a romance novel. There were sighs all around.

I blame my Texas roots. ;)

  25. LouisaCornell says:

Now THIS is how the West was Won !!

I think we need to hit the trail on a little roundup of our own, ladies. Anybody want to round up these FROS for a little roping, riding and anything else that comes to mind?

    1. Robin RBL says:

      I’m in!

  26. Elvina Hanson says:

Mmmmm…might have to hog-tie me one or two of them. :D

  27. Linda Scarchuk says:

    YUM, oh I love this…

  28. Mary Preston says:

I knew I loved cowboys for a reason.
