While channel surfing back in ’09, his incredibly beautiful face flashed before eyes. It was an ad for the telenovela ‘Cuidado con el Angel.’ I do not speak nor understand Spanish, but I started tuning in every night just staring at him, and was awed by his acting chops. when the series ended, I had withdrawals. Luckily, a few months later, he starred in another one called Sortilegio. for this one, I had my laptop, and translated word for word the Spanish captions whenever he spoke. I would think to myself – this man has to be bigger than this. thank heavens someone was listening.
