DOG DAYS at FROS (For Refreshemnt Only Sundays)

I love dogs. They’re just so cuddly! I mean, look at this adorable puppy . . . don’t you just want to HUG him?

And look at this adorable dog:

I want to kiss his adorable forehead RIGHT NOW!

Ohhh, and look at this fluffy specimen:

Don’t you just want to SNUGGLE him?

It’s so nice when dogs have a friend, too, don’t you think? A strong, well-muscled friend . . .

Sooooo cute! I just want to pat BOTH of them!

So, do you love dogs, too? Would you pat these? Hug them? Let them sleep on your couch? Because I know I would!

Happy FROS, m’dears! And may your week be filled with lots of hugs and snuggles, too!

NOTE: My next book, HOW TO CAPTURE A COUNTESS is out in just a few short weeks (Sept 18th) and the famed Roxburghe Pugs are a main feature in the story, causing mayhem and mischief as they tumble through the scenes, so be sure you don’t miss it! Oh, and there’s a sexy earl in this story, too, but then you knew that. :)

  1. Karen Hawkins says:

YAY! Our comments somehow got closed (I promise I didn’t do it!), but it’s all fixed now.

So now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to admire these fine men– I mean puppies! Puppies, yes, that’s what I meant. PUPPIES.

  2. Kelly Ryan Watson says:

I would hug them, and love them, and squeeze them! There’s just something about a man and his dog!

The promise of playful dogs and a sexy earl is so… so… Yummy! I can’t wait for How to Capture a Countess!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Lol! I’d like to hug them and love them and squeeze them, too! I’d also pat the dogs. :)

Kelly, I hope you’ll enjoy HOW TO CAPTURE A COUNTESS. I can’t wait for it to hit the shelves!

  3. Freshechelle says:

Oh hey look at that. There are dogs in those pictures too.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      *squints at pictures* Where?

  4. Judy F says:

Hey Karen, great pics of the men. Oh and the dogs too.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      Thank you, Judy!

  5. Kelly Proellocks says:

I’m a cat person who likes dogs. Maybe there’s pictures of hot men with cats? Have a great Sunday!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Kelly, one never knows what might show up on FROS . . . :)

  6. Pamiam says:

I’ll take a few a those dogs as long as their “handler” comes with them :-)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Handler … I like that title. I’d like my own ‘handler’, too. Teehee!

  7. LouisaCornell says:

Now there’s something I could cuddle up in front of a fireplace with all winter long! Real men love their dogs! And I LOVE real men!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Yes, they do! Real men love their dogs and the women who love their dogs, too.

  8. Gwyn says:

Nicely done! There is something oddly heartwarming about a macho guy loving a small dog. Although I prefer larger dogs myself, one expects Studdly-do-right to have a dog as studdly as he is, I guess. When he’s cuddling a pug or Bishon, you know he has more heart than muscle.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Gwyn, I never thought of that, but they would have to be gentler. Very true!

  9. Kathleen O says:

Cute dogs and Cuter Men… Ya Baby…. I am hugging up to number one and two for sure..

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

#1 did it for me. He’s adorable. And the dog’s cute, too.

  10. Judy, Judy, Judy says:

Dog # 3 looks like he needs to hop down and get a big drink of water. Not to fear, though, I’m willing to keep his place warm.

  11. Glittergirl says:

I can’t wait for your book to come out!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Thank you, Gittergirl! I’m starting to get very excited/nervous/thrilled, too. WOOHOO! :)

  12. RobinRBL says:

    Nice FROS!

I’m reminded of a quote from Phantom Waltz by Catherine Anderson. The hero comes home, looks around the house, see’s the dog hair on the floor and the mess by the water dish….then the dog comes over and lays down so he can get his belly rubbed. The hero gets on his knees and rubs the dogs belly and says “who cares about dog hair? Life ain’t hardly worth living if you ain’t got a dog”.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Robin, truer words have never been spoken. :) And thanks for the reminder about Catherine A. It’s time I got one of her titles down for a re-read. :)

  13. Julie says:

Oh yes, the dogs are very cute…love their friends, too! ;)

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

      Julie, glad you liked!

  14. Ginger Robertson says:

Yeah, right cute dogs. How did I miss them???

  15. Karen Hawkins says:

Ginger, I don’t know, but I had the SAME trouble. Must be something in the air! OR water! OR … yeah, we’ll stick with that. :D

  16. Mary Preston says:

    Very nice indeed thank you!!

  17. Lori Howe says:

My grandmother impressed upon me you should never trust a man who doesn’t like dogs … Obviously, these are Good ones ;-)
