For Refreshment Only Sundays (FROS) goes . . . to the movies!

I’ve been on a movie kick lately and I’ve come to the conclusion that there really should add a FROS category to the Academy Awards.

Here are my nominations:

BEST OVERALL ROMANTIC PLOT STARRING THREE FROS WORTHY HEROES:

BEST FROS LAKE SWIMMING SCENE

BEST FROS LINE EVER SPOKEN (I WILL FIND YOU!) SCENE

BEST FROS OCCUPATION (OTHER THAN DUKE, POLICEMAN, OR COWBOY) IN A MOVIE

Happy FROS, m’dears! May your week be just as hot, sexy, and overall AWESOME as our new FROS Academy Awards!

What a lovely way to start the day!

About 10 years ago my dh told me that he was going to be working with Jospeh Fiennes. I was so disappointed that it was going to be over an ISDN line because I was thinking that I could go to the studio for lunch or something to catch a glimpse of him.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Janae, I think your husband owes you for that disappointment. Something BIG!!!

      1. Janae says:

He should. Instead I got to see Jeff Bridges – not impressed, lol.

        1. Karen Hawkins says:

Lol! Yup, I’d feel cheated, too.

  9. LouisaCornell says:

WOW! What a great way to start the morning!! And as I have ALL of those movies on DVD I have all sorts of possibilities in mind for the rest of my day. I’ll help you with those letters, FRESH! How about a petition? And then perhaps we could have the gentlemen in question lobby us for a spot on the nominee list? I could help with those interviews. I really could. Truly. It wouldn’t be a problem at all. Hello? Hello? Buehller?

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Louisa, I’m putting you in charge! Plus, I want to see this movie collection of yours.

  10. Suzanne Enoch says:

Thank you for the reminder that there are some good movies out there, especially since I haven’t seen a movie in years. BTW, I saw a commercial for tonight’s 60 minutes with Hugh Jackman. I’m guessing a must see for all the goddesses.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Eileen, he was WONDERFUL in that interview, wasn’t he? I’m not a big Les Mis fan, but I’m definitely going to see it.

I hope you find some good movies to watch. There are some fabulous ones out there!
