For Refreshment Only Sunday’s YEAR IN REVIEW

It’s been a big, big year here at TGB, especially in the FROS area.

We’ve had it all this year. We’ve had cowboys:

And dancers:

Actors:

Firemen:

Athletes: (Good luck to Clay Matthews and the Packers today, btw!)

And, of course, the icing on our FROS Cake . . . Hugh Jackman:

All in all, I’d say we had a pretty good year, wouldn’t you? Personally, I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!

Happy FROS, m’dears! May your week be filled with smiles of the year that was, and warm, hopeful thoughts of the year that will be!

  2. Kelly Proellocks says:

Whoa! Here’s hoping to 2013 being chock full of yumminess and without the crap that my family put me through this year.

    1. Amanda says:

Kelly–While visiting with sis-in-law, she said she got rid of the crap by not sharing life facts with the parents. She went back to school and got her degree without them knowing. She moved. They got one of those cute change of address cards in the mail. Perhaps this tactic would work for you? I don’t know. Just thought I would suggest. Happy New Year, and here’s to cutting the crap next year!

    2. Karen Hawkins says:

Here’s to a terrific 2013 for you, Kelly!

FROS-wise, it was an awesome year. The real meaning of awesome, not the overused version.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Lol! Thanks, Fresh! I enjoy FROS. It’s just a lovely way to start the week. Sometimes, if my week doesn’t go well, I sneak back and peek at it for a little pick-me-up.

  10. RobinRBL says:

Wonderful, thank you. You know Karen, I have to tell you, since I was on Hugh watch for you and keeping track of all the shows he visited to the Les Miz opening, I happened to watch some of them and he is CHARMING SUPER HUNK! Hugh Jackman is on my Top 10 list now, for sure. I think he is actually moving up to #3. Daniel Craig and Gerard Butler are 1 and 2. And do you notice that my top 3 hunks all have accents?

LOOKING FORWARD to another year of FROS.

  11. evlqn says:

Thank you for the year in review and hoping next year is as wonderful. Inquiring minds want to know, will we perchance be kicking off 2013 with a serving of Jackman? What are the odds he will figure in FROS yummyness?

  12. Judy, Judy, Judy says:

That’s definitely my idea of a good year.

  13. JenG says:

Happy New Year Ladies!!! Thank you for the wonderful FROS year in review Karen! Definitely brightened my weekend. Been in bed with monster migraine for 2 days now. FINALLY feeling well enough to be up and on the computer. My munchkin is down your way today at Sea World with her aunt and uncle so we’ve had a quiet house and my head is very thankful for that :)

Will definitely be re reviewing the year in review :)
