  1. Kelly Proellocks says:

Where’s a strong gust of wind when you need it? At the moment I would just settle for the next week to be dry because areas of Queensland are on flood alert thanks to ex tropical cyclone Oswald continuing to last the coast here.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Kelly, it sounds like you have perfect kilt weather there! (But do be safe. One never knows about Mother Nature.)

  2. Freshechelle says:

Your kilt portfolio seems to have expanded. When the blog topic is about what we like to collect – I like your collection best!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

You should see my FROS folder. It’s gotten impressive over the years. QUITE impressive.

      1. Freshechelle says:

It’s a wonder you get any work done.

  3. Archer says:

I was at a Burn’s supper in Scotland on Friday so it was Kilts galore :)
The second guy looks like the guy from this commercial:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8Z8Y0g0cEQ
    Soooo funny!
    Last guy is uber wow!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Archer, now that’s a commercial! Hah!

The last guy is my favorite, too. Those thighs … wow.

    2. T Counce says:

ok, that commercial was absolutely awesome…thanks for sharing is Archer :)

      1. Archer says:

        You’re welcome loli

        1. Archer says:

          Lol not loli :)

  4. Connie Fischer says:

A man in a kilt is a – sigh – lovely sight and isn’t it amazing how masculine they look? Delicious!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

You can definitely see the muscle-y areas better when they’re kilted. Delicious!

  5. Judy F says:

    I love being kilted. YUmmy

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

  8. Amanda says:

I’m thinking I need to get DH a kilt.

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Do it! DO. IT. DO! IT!

  9. dbrown3400 says:

No one has answered that age-old question: What’s under those kilts? Just a FROS-type query. Also, what do they do whey it gets really cold? Leggings?

    1. Archer says:

I’ve been living in Scotland for the last 6 months and having seen a lot of drunken men in kilts fall down I can tell you most wear nada lol

      1. dbrown3400 says:

        Hmmm…

    2. Karen Hawkins says:

What Archer says — nada. It’s supposedly an insult to suggest they wear anything else.

      1. Archer says:

The real tartans are too heavy and hot to wear anything underneath.

  10. Kelly Ryan Watson says:

Dang! I had one I was going to send you that would’ve gone perfectly with this FROS! I’ve fallen in love with the last one. The body is fine, but his expression tells me all I need to know about his personality! Nice, Karen!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Thanks, Kelly! And send it on – I can always work in a handsome guy in a kilt.

  11. Suzanne Enoch says:

I feel very inspired today! *g*

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Me, too! Now if only one of them would rub my feet while I was writing. I know I could get a lot of work done then!

  12. Angela says:

    Just what I needed!

    1. Karen Hawkins says:

Glad we could help you out, Angela! :)

I love kilts, one of the best things about Celtic festivals, herds and herds of kilted men. This is such a nice reminder that Kilt Season is coming up. lovely reminder. Thank you Karen.

  27. Bonnie Capuano says:

Scotland has always been on my wish list. s such a beautiful country and I’d love to see it just once. I also like to picture all the men walking around wearing kilts. HA Now that is wishful dreaming but hey…if you are dreaming of Scotland then men in kilts naturally go right along with it!!!

  28. KathyT says:

I always loved men in kilts, just have not found one. I love the pictures

  29. Janice Hougland says:

Oh my! Do I ever love the thought of kilts (and what’s under ‘em) when I’m reading one of your books or another Scots romance. I was in Scotland one Summer in the 80′s and came “so close” to asking for a peek at one Scot’s kilt–but I refrained. Didn’t want to be blamed for being a crazy American! Sigh . . .
