This next week is the 6th anniversary of The Goddess Blogs! From February 11-16th, the Goddesses are celebrating in true goddess-like fashion with some fabulous giveaways and fun discussions!
Over the last six years, we have had a lot of fun on Mt Oly and The Goddess Blogs has become an amazing place for friendships and conversations about books, life and everything else under the sun so we thought we’d take a moment to look back on how it all began.
In 2007, blogging was becoming an increasingly popular way for authors to interact with their readers and Karen Hawkins approached Sabrina Jeffries about the possibility of starting a group blog with other romance authors. Sabrina had already been thinking about it, so it was kismet! They picked some friends, some people who’d expressed an interest in doing it and some that were not already in another blog and formed an initial group of eight people – Sabrina Jeffries, Karen Hawkins, Karen Rose, Claudia Dain, Nicole Jordan, Rachel Gibson, Suzanne Enoch and Julia London.
The eight worked out what they wanted to talk about and what kind of place they would like to hang out. They bantered about various names including Readers Circus (Sabrina like this one and was looking forward to being Sabrina “The Saber” Jeffries), Goddess to Goddess, Goddess’s Guide to Life and Love, Goddess Talk (are you seeing how the Goddess theme took hold early?), Dishing with the Divas and Hot Divas. Nicole Jordan was the one who hit on the winner – The Goddess Blogs.
They got the site up and running and immediately had a ball talking with readers and fellow book lovers who visited the site. It was not too long after that the original eight asked Madeline Hunter and Lori Handeland to join the group, which was another brilliant move in the evolution of Mt Oly. Over the years, Karen Rose and Nicole Jordan left Mt Oly and were replaced by Susan Mallery and Barbara Samuel. When Susan decided to move on, Christie Ridgway took her place on Mt Oly, completing the current lineup you see above.
Each year, The Goddess Blogs holds some fabulous events inviting some of their author friends to visit and giving away some fabulous goodies as a thank you to everyone who is a part of Mt Oly. They also put on a spectacular reception at the annual RWA conference where they get to meet readers face to face. (This year’s shindig will be in Atlanta – mark your calendars!) All in all, it has been a wonderful experience for all the goddesses and they are thrilled to be celebrating six years of such a wonderful adventure – and look forward to many more!
So what is your favorite thing about The Goddess Blogs? How did you find the site and what flavor of virtual cake should we serve at the birthday party?
My favorite thing about The Goddess Blogs is how wonderful and friendly the Goddesses are. You all take a really crappy day and make it just that much better. I consider you all friends and family of the heart. If I were in the US I would be doing the RWA thing every year as well as showing up for signings but darn it, it seems like none of my favorite authors come to Australia or if they do then I find out too late.
I found out about this site after some of the Goddesses accepted my friend request on Facebook and followed them over just to see what it was all about since I had never done the blogging thing before. I think that the flavor cake that should be served is a life sized chocolate lava cake in the shape of Hugh Jackman since he is definitely the flavor of the decade.

Aw, that’s so sweet, Kelly! It’s a shame that Australia is so far, because I’m sure we’d all love to meet you in person.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:08 pm.
Kelly, your cake choice is AH-MA-ZING!

Has it been 6 years already?
favorite bit: the unplanned friendships. I expected to learn a little about some writers, I never expected to make so many good friends.
2nd fave thing: discovering several goddesses’ work – I didn’t know any of the goddess works except Madeline and Rachel before I got here. I was a lurker in the genre before knowing all you all.
Found TGB through Rachel Gibson’s website after devouring and enjoying yet another of her books. Guess it was whichever one came out 6 years ago.
I’ll celebrate with a bowl of Raisin Bran. I need to break my cake addiction.
Happy birthday to my favorite 6 year old!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 6:30 am.
For me I think that it was either Karen or Lori on Facebook.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 8:00 am.
The unplanned friendships –that’s one of my favorite things, too.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 9:31 am.
I found this blog through facebook, I think. I came once, had fun, bookmarked it, and stayed. I found new authors, new books, etc. I really don’t care what type of cake you have. My husband only likes chocolate but I’m open to any favor.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 7:59 am.
I found the site through another blog group. I can’t remember the name now… Maybe Squawkers ?? With Eloisa, Christina Dodd, Lisa Kleypas and Connie Brockway. It was right after KEW passed away and they said the goddesses were talking about her too. I came over and have remained ever since! I love all the goddesses and am thankful for this place to chat.

I honestly don’t remember how I came here. I think I was looking for a community of romance readers because I seem to be in the minority in my physical community. While the romance genre checks out like mad at our library, no one wants to get together and discuss the books. I was already reading Sabrina, Karen, and Rachel. It was like author nirvana for me. I’ve discovered new to me authors, and it is easy to keep up on release dates for those who I’m reading
Speaking of the library…Thank you for the good thoughts/well wishes that have come my way over the years. Especially during budget season, which we will be entering into shortly. The audit for last year is done (we have our monetary accounts independently audited every year) and our awesome auditor has given us some excellent advice and a road map to become better at keeping things straight.
Happy Birthday, and looking forward to the exciting things that are planned for next week.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 9:19 am.
Amanda, have you considered trying to have some romance events? They seem to go over well in our libraries here. There’s even a romance book club that meets at one of our libraries!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:10 pm.
We hosted an event today. It was me, the director, the director’s mom, and a library employee. A couple of people popped in and out. There was even an assortment and chocolate, coffee, and tea. But, I had a good time.
Are you going to be at the RT book fair in KC in May? I got the literature for the conference today at the library and your name is listed. A romance conference is finally in my area (practically my back yard) and I’d love to come introduce myself.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:42 pm.
I honestly don’t remember where I found TGB.Probably FaceBook. I stop by every day, but I don’t always comment. I have found new friends here and new authors I would never have read if not for TGB.
As far as cake, whatever you serve is fie with me.
Happy 6th Birthday and I’ll be sure to stop by next week.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 9:55 am.
Thanks, Sue! Good luck and I hope you win a prize.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:35 am.
My favorite thing is interacting with some of my favorite authors! You guys make me smile a lot
I forget how I found the site, but likely through one of the authors webpages since I stalked those quite a bit. Chocolate cake with mocha buttercreme and chocolate shavings on top. Is there any other kind?
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 10:17 am.
Jen B said: Chocolate cake with mocha buttercreme and chocolate shavings on top.
Karen says: YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:36 am.
Another reader who has memory issues… but I bookmarked this site early and return daily…
Happy 6th Birthday!!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 10:26 am.
We’re glad to have you, too!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:36 am.
I don’t remember how I found the site. Happy Bday.
Chocolate cake of course.
I love hearing about new books, seeing what the authors are up to and of course the contests.
And this one is spectacular. Thanks very much for doing this celebration and we get the presents.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 10:44 am.
Presents are always nice, aren’t they?
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:36 am.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I can’t recall exactly how I lumbered on to TGBs but I think it probably happened as I started connecting to some of my favorite authors on FaceBook/Twitter and once I saw How Many favorite authors were Goddess’s, I just had to keep up as much as I could. I’m constantly amazed how you can write all day and take time to write something else on a regular basis. And I’m SURE this isn’t the only blog you’re connected to, not to mention your own websites! THANKS for ALL you Do for Us!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 10:46 am.
Thank you, Lori! We love being here. It’s our watercooler break-from-work.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:37 am.
Happy 6 Year Anniversary, Goddesses!
I love hearing all of the personal things that all of you so graciously share with us! I also enjoy hearing about new book releases. I love to write, so when I can respond to a question from one of you, it always brings a smile to my face. Of course, when I win a prize, I’m even happier.
I found the site by accident, but I’ve been hooked ever since, it’s my good-for-me daily drug of choice. Every one of you has been so welcoming, I feel as though I’m with old, dear friends, so thank you.
My vote for the cake would be chocolate, with purple icing. It would have to say “I LOVE BOOKS”!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:01 am.
A chocolate cake with I LOVE BOOKS! on it? Hmmm. I can see that we may need more than one cake.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:27 pm.
TGB was my first experience with blogging and I ran into it at the beginning on Karen Hawkin’s website (I think.) It’s been wonderful meeting new friends here, both online and in person. I’ve made some good friends. A nice lemon cake with lemon frosting would be nice to offset all the delightful chocolate.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:10 am.
And we’re glad you’re here, d!
And now … lemon cake with lemon icing. Ok, we may need a plethora of cakes.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:28 pm.
TGB was mentioned on one of the authors websites and I stopped in and visit daily. I meet new people and enjoy the banter.
A nice carrot cake with cream cheese frosting would be yummy
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:18 am.
Angela, it’s nice you’re here, too.
And oh my gosh, carrot cake! I haven’t had a good slice in a long time. I may have to remedy that!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:29 pm.
Happy Anniversary, Goddesses! Raising my glass in a toast to many more years of blogging fun!
I’ve been here since the beginning. Kim Castillo (who I knew from Squawk Radio and Eloisa James’s bulletin board) told me about this terrific group of authors who were starting a new blog, I popped over to say hello and the rest, as they say, is history.
I’ve had the pleasure of attending a few of your RWA receptions. Looking forward to another one this summer. My tiara is all polished up and ready for Atlanta!
I’m trying to forego desserts these days but I might be convinced to take a bite of German Chocolate cake.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:27 am.
Thank you, PJ!
I used to ask for German Chocolate for my birthday every year. I loooooove that cake!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:29 pm.
HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY!!
I love everything about The Goddess Blogs. I’ve got to say that there’s nothing that I don’t enjoy on here. Every day there is an entertaining blog and great comments in response.
I found the site after looking up Sabrina Jeffries. When I first read one of her books (and fell in love), I just HAD to buy every book that she’d ever written. I went to her website, bought the books, and it just branched out from there.
I’ve always wanted to go to the RWA conference! This year, as you all know, my twins will have just been born, but next year I’m sincerely hoping that I can make the flight out!
PS. I vote for chocolate cake with Nutella icing.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:46 am.
Nutella icing? oh good googly moogly.. that sounds insanely decadent.. and I want some.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:55 am.
Nutella icing? Do you have a recipe? Can I buy it? I’m drooling just thinking about it! lol!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 12:30 pm.
No, I don’t have a recipe.
I’ve made it before using plain ‘ol chocolate cake mix and a jar of Nutella. It is amazingly wonderful!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:48 pm.
And we’re glad you came, too! Good luck with the twins!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:11 pm.
Cheri, you had me at ‘chocolate cake.’
I hope we get to see you at an RWA conference/party, too!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 9:33 am.
Happy anniversary, Goddesses! I do love Mt Oly! It has been my little stop over place for quite a while now. I believe I found it through Suzanne Enoch… maybe Rachel Gibson.
I love that I found so many fellow readers and have met some truly amazing people through TGB.
My book budget is now consistently blown because this is really the main place I find out about new releases and many new (to me) authors. The memories of some of the comments on here, the RWA receptions and the opportunity to get to talk with some of my favorite authors is priceless.
Because it is not served often, I would love a spice cake option at the party. Either that or brownies. nomnomnomnom
Cheers, Goddesses!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:55 am.
I’m with you on the book budget being blown!! I could buy 3 new books per week and still not have enough. Sadly, I don’t have enough room for them all!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:50 pm.
I came here through Karen Rose. Wow, it’s been what? Three years??? Long time! What I like the most is the people I’ve got to know. The familiar usernames I gotto learn about and get to have little peaks on their lives every day <3
But… But… But… No Sabrina every week??? SADNESS.

Posted on February 10, 2013 at 7:45 am.
Was I ever here every week? I don’t remember that.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:12 pm.
I honestly don’t remember how I stumbled upon this site, but I am so happy I did. I think it is great that these talented authors take the time out of their schedules to converse with the visitors here. The contests are an added bonus. I have found some new friends and spectacular new reads. Thank you all for that! Oh, and Happy Anniversary!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 12:13 pm.
Thanks, Kelly! We’re glad to have you with us, too!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 9:34 am.
It has been long enough ago that I found TGB, that I can’t remember exactly how I heard about it. I probably found mention on an author’s website. Unless someone was a guest blogger on Squawk Radio.
I like chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
TinaF, ah, Squawk Radio. I loved that blog! However you found us, it’s nice that you’re here.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 9:35 am.
Happy anniversary Goddesses!
I came here through Eloisa James Bulletin Board and have been visiting all the years from the beginning.
I have found many new books and authors on this blog; especially happy about learning Rachel Gibson´s books.
Any kind of chocolate cake would do to celebrate the Goddesses! Is there any other kind of cake…?
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:05 pm.
Thanks, Serenissima! I hear ya on the Gibson books — I love her heroes. Studly, manly, and believable.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 9:36 am.
I love everything about this site I just don’t get to visit as much as I would like but will try to get by new week during the celebration.
I love about all cakes.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:06 pm.
Quilt Lady, do come by!
I’m trying hard not to love all cakes, but I do. All. Of. Them.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 9:41 am.
The Goddess Blogs is a fun group of fabulous authors who tell their readers all about themselves and their families and how they feel about things in life. I have always been interested in the people who write the books that I love. Always means a LONG time as I’m in my 60s. To be a part of the blog age is so much fun for me. I’ve always liked to put my two cents in on things and here I feel comfortable enough to do so. Add to all of that the opportunity to win novels and such, and I haunt this blog every day! For instance, I just received a book I won from Sabrina Jeffries entitled “Let Sleeping Rogues Lie.” Am I excited? I’m thrilled!!! Thank you so much for this great book. I shall start reading it ASAP!!
I found the site through a good friend of mine and boy do I owe her one for telling me about it!! Three cheers for Leah Weller! Thank you, dear friend!
Virtual cake: I would love a yellow cake with fluffy buttercream frosting. Simple and delicious! However, cake in any shape, form, flavor is my favorite sweet. Yummy!
Looking forward to your 6-year anniversary celebration! It’s going to be a ball and I shall be here!!! Thanks so much and congratulations on keeping it going this long and so well.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:22 pm.
Woo hoo! Six years! Since it’s virtual cake, I’m having a slice of every single one you guys have mentioned.
We wouldn’t still be here if not for our fab readers and the way y’all make the conversations SO much more interesting and inviting. We love you all!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:46 pm.
Wow – 6 years! It’s hard to believe. I’m not sure how I found it because I was reading a bunch of blogs 6 years ago.
I loved attending the RWA in Anaheim where I got to meet many of the Goddesses as well as Fresh, Sheridan, and Louisa. I would love to attend, again, but I think it’s around the same time as the San Diego ComiCon, which is our family vacation this year.
Of course, I’ve loved receiving autographed copies of books and a t-shirt.
I like salted caramel buttercream frosted chocolate cake.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 1:54 pm.
I love the site. I love getting to read what some of my favorite authors think about when they’re not creating incredible stories. It brings you back to the level of people, really nice, caring people, from the idealized Author. The Author has no life outside books and writing for my entertainment, you ladies are flesh and blood and worries and neuroses and triumphs and Human. I adore that. Thank you for creating a place where I can interact with wonderful authors and wonderful readers who share my love of all things romance.
That’s the other thing I love about this community. I don’t reply every day but I do every day that I can. I love reading the replies of the other women and the level of caring and support that is given to anyone who needs it. Triumphs are celebrated and troubles are sympathized with, it’s an amazing community you all have built and I feel so glad that I found it. Readers from all over the world, with all different perspectives come together to chat about life and books. It’s great.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 2:39 pm.
I enjoy so much about The Goddess Blogs. It’s one of my favorite sites. I found TGB because I followed Goddess Lori here. I’m looking forward to the anniversary celebration, with lots of champagne and chocolate cake. Celebrate, ladies; you deserve it.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 2:50 pm.
I found The Goddess Blogs through either Rachel Gibson or Suzanne Enoch. The link was mentioned in the back of one of their books. I don’t get to visit as often as I’d like nowadays but get here as often as I can. Will definitely visit over the next week. I love the support that is given here and the friendliness.
Cake mmm it would have to be either chocolate or carrot cake
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 3:36 pm.
I don’t remember how I discovered the site, but I love stopping by each day.
Cake would be an Italian rum cake.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 3:56 pm.
I don’t remember either how I came across this blog but I do know it was the first one I actually participated in. I love the interaction and of course the contests.
My cake of choice is german chocolate. Hmmmm Now I may have to go check the pantry for cake mixes !
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 4:51 pm.
I came to TGB by way of Lori Handeland, she announced on her website she was going to be guesting here and we all should come over for a natter. I came, I nattered, I stayed. Then one lovely day Lori came to stay as well. I love that the people here really care about the others. Some of us will never meet outside cyberspace but we all matter to the others.
Then one day, I think it may have been Suzanne mentioned facebook and thought we should check it out as well. I love facebook. But do not look for me on twitter, I have never used my account in the nearly five years I have had it, it makes no sense to me.
Double chocolate peppermint schnapps cake will do nicely for a celebration of this magnitude.
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 5:07 pm.
Can’t remember how I found the site. I used to read blogs for info on books, but didn’t really comment like I do here.
New York Strawberry Cheesecake is fit for any Goddess
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 6:33 pm.
I check this blog out almost every day and I’m a longtime fan of Karen Hawkins and Sabrina Jeffries, so there you go–that’s how I found you
.
Cake — DOUBLE DUTCH CHOCOLATE WITH FUDGE FROSTING and a side of Champagne and strawberries of course
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 8:02 pm.
Happy Birthday GODDESS BLOGS !!
I think I started checking out the Goddess Blogs after I met Karen Hawkins at a readers’ luncheon in Birmingham, Alabama. I’ve been a Goddess Blogs fan ever since! And let me tell you, the Goddesses KNOW how to throw a party. Their parties at RWA are legendary! I’ve met all of the Goddesses and I’ve met several of the other fans of the GB too. Hey Sheridan! Hey Janae! I know I’ve met several more of you. The thing I like best is the friendships we’ve forged and all of the fun we have. We gossip, we talk books, we talk everything from crazy signs to weddings to reality television. We’ve seen each other through all sorts of bad times and good times. We’re a community and that’s what I love best about the Goddess Blogs!!! MWAH!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 10:03 pm.
I am absolutely thrilled that I found TGB. I love the books by the Goddesses and love to read, so it was a great place for me to check out every day to find out what is up while they write more for us to read.
As far as virtual cake goes, I think it’s a bit like Mary Poppin’s medicine, and it will be different for everyone.
My favorite cake is red velvet with yummy cream cheese icing. YUM!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:20 pm.
I would have to bring some triple chocolate cupcakes to the party!
Posted on February 9, 2013 at 11:28 pm.
I found this blog while I was bed-ridden with severe back muscle spasms and whiplash after having been in hit and run car accidents twice within four months. I had some books I bought from the local Goodwill, and liked one so much I went looking for more books by that same author, which lead me to the author’s page, which led me to this page. Life is good! I think you need to serve chocolate cake with chocolate butter rum icing – and make sure you use real rum so we all get a little treat. LOL
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 1:12 am.
First things first – Chocolate Cake all the way!!
I followed links. Kind of like a trail of sweets in the forest that is the Internet.
I love the posts & the comments.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:42 am.
I’ve always been a fan of Sabrina Jeffries and it was through her association with the group and the announcement in her newsletter that brought me over to the Goddesses. I don’t visit all that often, but I try to stop off at least once or twice a week….just to see what I can see!
I think you should serve a rich and dark chocolate cake with more deeply rich chocolate frosting…lots and lots of frosting! And maybe Chocotini’s too.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 10:42 am.
I’m also not sure how I found this blog. Probably from following Madeline Hunter, as I’m a huge fan of her books. I’ve read every single one, and By Arrangement is in my top 10 favorites! Since then I’ve read and enjoyed Sabrina Jeffries’ and Suzanne Enoch’s books.
My favorite thing on the side is FROS! But I just love to see what’s on your minds.
I will always choose black forest cake with dark chocolate frosting! Congrats of 6 years!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 3:40 pm.
I like the interesting topics and also getting comments from all the great people who stop by.
I like the book recommendations too!
I enjoy the guest bloggers, the prizes, the FROS, the upcoming book sneak previews and the continued debate of which is better Star Trek or Star Wars.
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 6:11 pm.
I love the site because several of my favorite authors are on here. I own dozens of the goddesses books. Keep on writing!
Posted on February 10, 2013 at 9:33 pm.
Found the blog because I follow Sabrina on Facebook, then realized how many other Goddesses there are whose novels i regularly read! And anything chocolate!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 10:38 am.
Can’t quite remember how I found out about the Goddess Blogs, but I am so glad that I did. Your candidness and wit give me a reason to smile on the days when difficult. Thank you so much and keep up the awesome work…you are all very lovely people!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 10:50 am.
Found the website through some of my favorite authors who blog here and I love the warmth and fun they create here. The eye candy pictures don’t hurt either. I love carrot cake but cake is cake and I don’t say no.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 10:51 am.
I found the blog through Sabrina Jeffries website. I enjoy finding out about the other authors and new books. Plus I love how funny and sometimes sarcastic ya’ll can be. Cake well I am a big fan of red velvet but as many others have stated cake is cake!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 11:31 am.
I love everything about the Goddess Blogs. I found out about it through a post on facebook. I think we should have turtle cheesecake. Yum!
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 11:42 am.
I think that this is a fantabulous place to escape the reality that is life. There is nothing better than escaping to an alternate reality after a long, rough day. I can’t believe that you are really celebrating 6 years now. I do believe that I must have been living under a rock for the past 5 years or so because I had no idea this even existed….lol,
As for cake flavor, I say go for anything tall, dark, and in a kilt, like Jack Kincaid perhaps
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 12:11 pm.
I found the site after I started reading Karen Rose books and she was a part of the blog. There is a nice mix of authors and that’s a plus. The virtual cake should be mocha.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 12:27 pm.
I love getting the scoop on the books coming out and of course the pictures of who inspired the Hero’s help too
.
I also like reading what each of you think of another’s book.
Sorry I’m a plain and simple girl, it would be vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 12:53 pm.
Thank you to all of the lovely writers!! I love most of you (have to confess I haven’t read all of you, but have read most!). Just finished rereading a Rachel Gibson and a Karen Hawkins and waiting impatiently for Sabrina Jeffries to release another.
My favorite cake is definitely chocolate with chocolate icing. Preferably dark chocolate and I like the chocolate curls too. (any way to get more chocolate on there is great!) But I do NOT like white chocolate, so please don’t even try to give me any.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 2:44 pm.
I like the goddess blogs because I get to see what some of my favorite authors are doing. Also I like seeing information about new books so I can preorder them for my kindle. I found out about the blogs through Christie ridgways Facebook. I think you should have a vanilla cake with layers of a strawberry filling in the shape of a heart because books always make me happy.
Posted on February 11, 2013 at 3:40 pm.
Not really been one for blogs but keep peeking at this one as usually there are smiles to be found here
While not (yet) familiar with all the goddesses’ writings, I still enjoy the site!
Ps am wondering if I can convince my boss that I need to visit our head office in Atlanta around the conference time?? HMMMM…..:):)

I came across the Goddess Blog just a short while ago from off of tge Sabrina Jeffries website. I started with reading and collecting all of her books and loving them Soo much that I went looking for more great authors and found all the Goddesses. I’m new to the site but have been a huge fan for a while. Books are always such a wonderful adventure into a different world for me. My husband says I’m rather addicted to reading and rolls his eyes when the only gifts I ever ask for is a new book, But hey a stay at home mom has to have something to do while the children run wild lol. Well actually its more I have to have something to keep me company so I don’t feel lonely when the insomnia kicks in :-/ and as for what kind of cake……its Cake!…..any and all will do.

I cannot begin to narrow down what my fav thing is about this blog. I discovered you because I was a fan of several of the authors / Goddesses. As to cake… how about a decadent cheesecake served with choice of berries, chocolate sauce and or caramel sauce…
